Trusted Tutoring, Built on Experience

Lori founded Rise and Shine Tutoring in 2007. She quickly realized the high demand for quality one-on-one tutoring. Rise and Shine Tutoring has grown exponentially since then and now serves several counties. She recruits tutors from the community. Many are upper-level, degree-seeking college students or retired or current teachers.

All tutors undergo a thorough interview, background check, reference check, and review of educational history. Lori works with families to match students with tutors. Clients are typically matched with a tutor within 24 to 48 hours of the initial consultation.

Dedicated to Student Success

Lindsey has taught English in middle and high school and has coached educators at both levels. She developed, maintained, and applied Section 504 Plans and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) accommodations for multiple students during that time.

She strived to communicate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to meet and exceed each student’s personal learning goals. From her teaching experiences and her own children, Lindsey understands the uniqueness of each student and the desire to see students succeed.
